We are currently seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our production team and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Mission:
As a Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the application and management of standardized manufacturing methods.
Your strong involvement in continuous improvement will help elevate our production processes to new heights.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the performance of a production entity by effectively managing and animating teams.
Align resources with operational needs for short, medium, and long-term objectives, ensuring successful execution of standardized work and comprehensive training plans.
Act as a pivotal contributor to continuous improvement efforts, managing people and budget accountability.
Main Activities:
Enforce compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols and 5S rules across the shop floor.
Assume legal responsibility as a manager in case of any incidents.
Ensure adherence to quality systems and defined processes to meet required quality levels.
Optimize human and technical resources while integrating economic criteria.
Manage resource performance and productivity, balancing workload according to the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and customer portfolio.
Lead your team in accordance with Schneider Production System (SPS) and Shopfloor Improvement Methodology (SIM) guidelines.
Foster team development through goal setting, performance management, and competency development.
Define training programs based on competency targets and mission requirements.
Drive change management initiatives and address social impacts.
Provide industrial expertise for project execution (PCO).
Interactions:
Collaborate with internal teams (IAB1/IAB2, IAB5-Supervisor) and support functions.
Engage with customers and regional support functions on demand (e.g., Kaizen).
Qualifications
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations management, with a proven track record of leading teams.
Languages: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
Certifications: Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification preferred.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with production management software and quality improvement tools.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
