As part of the North America Supply Chain Automation team, this person has ownership of layout capital project execution for multiple simultaneous Manufacturing and Logistics automation projects.
This person provides layout, execution and project management expertise and support to both Technical Service Providers, K-C employees, and automation partners through automation projects.
This person will be responsible for the successful deployment of automation within mill and distribution center locations to achieve cost, quality and safety targets.
Provides operational support and project coordination to ensure the achievement of Logistics objectives.
In this role, you will:
* Drive the development and execution of North America Automation capital projects as projects are assigned.
Focus for this role will be to lead and leverage TSP teams in developing and executing tasks related to layout, installment, capacity and delivery on K-C project objectives.
* Drive overall TSP engagement as part of the Automation Project Portfolio.
This includes high level of collaboration with procurement and management to drive strategic project metrics through our TSPs.
* Coach and mentor TSPs and Project team members to increase technical understanding and ability to execute programs to improve North America’s business results.
* Ensure value engineering/cost savings activities are prioritized and executed.
* Ensure all work complies with Corporate Safety, Regulatory, and Quality requirements.
* Effectively collaborate with a cross-functional team that includes Logistics, Supply Chain, mill operations, procurement, equipment suppliers and with a focus on external service providers.
* This includes completing required project documentation through EFS, EDR, and Appropriation activities and Corporate Financial Instructions (CFIs).
* Consistent role modeling, growth and coaching within K-C Ways of Working
* Has to exert influence without authority across a cross-functional team spanning the Mill/Staff Manufacturing, Logistics, capital planning, external vendors, contractors, finance and others supply chain functions in order to progress the capital project at the speed required.
