Test Engineer - Manual

Job Description

Mission: The QA Engineer will help ensure the quality of our application, by preparing, managing and executing both manual tests.

This person will also be responsible for contributing to setting up QA best practices and managing the full testing life cycle.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Contribute to setting up QA processes and practices.

• Ensure quality of applications by creating/managing/executing both manual and automated tests.

• Understand business/engineering requirements to be able to better contribute to quality


* Write/manage/execute manual test cases


* Contribute to setting up QA processes and practices.


* Work in close co-ordination with teams located internationally.


* Understand and contribute to Agile processes


* Participate in sprints, scrum and release planning.

Profile: QA professional with around 4 years of experience in the area of Quality Assurance, and in testing of various types of software.

You have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and the drive to deliver on time.

Knowledge and Skills - Required



* At least 4 years of experience in professional testing


* Experience working with Web, Mobile, and API Testing - both manual automation


* Experience using testing tools such as Jira, Git, Selenium, CI/CD pipelines

• Experience in at least one testing automation tool (preferably on Selenium)

• Experience in Agile Development Methodology, working in sprints, SCRUM.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English

• Self-Driven and able to complete tasks autonomously and under pressure

• Ability to grasp new concepts and skills quickly

• Write and review test design/plan documentation

• Hands-on design/code review process for test automation
