PCB Design Engineer

As a PCB Design Engineer, you will collaborate with a highly skilled team of engineers to design and develop complex PCB layouts for the single-phase Uninterruptable Power Supply and Energy Management markets.

Your role will involve close cooperation with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to create designs using PCB CAD software such as PADS and Cadence.

You will conduct technical design reviews with the engineering team, create decals and parts as required, and work with vendors, test engineering, and industrialization teams to prepare designs for manufacturing and testing.

Additionally, you will qualify and release PCBs for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:


* Design and develop complex PCB layouts for single-phase Uninterruptable Power Supply and Energy Management markets.


* Collaborate with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers on PCB layout development.


* Utilize PCB CAD software (PADS and Cadence) for design creation.


* Conduct technical design reviews with the engineering team.


* Create decals and parts as needed.


* Coordinate with vendors, test engineering, and industrialization teams to prepare designs for manufacturing and testing.


* Qualify and release PCBs for manufacturing.

Qualifications:


* Preferred experience in power electronics design.


* Proficiency in designing PCB layouts to meet technical expectations and quality goals within supply chain constraints.


* Ability to manage multiple designs and work independently.


* Strong knowledge of Cadence design tools.


* Experience in analog and digital layout design.


* Understanding of product compliance and testing (EMI/EMC, product safety, and environmental conformance).


* Familiarity with EMI-compliant PCB layouts.


* Solid knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical components.


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


* Working knowledge of IPC and JEDEC design, fabrication, and assembly specifications.


* Ability to manage all aspects of layout and meet deadlines.


* Minimum of a 2-year technical degree with relevant experience
