Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer

Ardurra is looking to hire an experienced Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Orlando, FL.

Ardurra’s forward-thinking water and wastewater engineers work diligently with clients to plan, design, permit, and construct systems that address water supply, wastewater treatment, and effluent disposal and reuse.

Primary Function:

This position will serve as a subject matter expert on multidisciplinary projects involving water and wastewater collection, distribution systems, and treatment for municipal and institutional clients throughout the region.

The role includes providing technical expertise in the design, management, and optimization of water and wastewater projects.

You will be responsible for technical leadership and supporting strategic direction for a wide variety of water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects, performing or overseeing the technical design and hydraulic modeling requirements.

The position involves the application of advanced engineering techniques and analyses to develop effective solutions, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Primary Duties:


* Lead or support the planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, and infrastructure projects.


* Design and permitting of water, wastewater and reclaimed water pipelines.


* Wastewater pump station design and upgrades


* Hydraulic modeling and analysis of distribution water, reclaimed water distribution/transmission systems and wastewater collection/transmission systems


* Support client service managers and business development efforts, serving as a technical subject matter expert at in-person and virtual meetings and project interviews.

Participate in project pursuits and interviews, including developing technical approaches, and scope items.


* Develop scope and budget for new project opportunities.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:


* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required


* Professional Engineer preferred


* Approximately 8+ years of experience
