Job Summary

As an Associate in the Sustainable Solutions team within Corporate Advisory, you will be a key player in the execution of the firm's business.

You will work with expert professionals at the heart of a leading global investment bank.

Job Responsibilities


* Working with J.P.

Morgan product and sector teams


* Building and completing complex analytical exercises, working with large data sets that link financial and sustainability data


* Supporting senior bankers in developing structured solutions for complex transactions


* Developing a subject matter expertise at the intersection of sustainability, corporate finance and structuring


* Drafting management presentations, Board materials, and other materials for use in M&A and capital markets transactions or strategic client dialogue


* Keeping abreast of key market developments, sustainable finance topics, and establishing knowledge of the target client base and relevant market dynamics


* Creating thematic client content on key issues and market development

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* Prior work experience in an investment banking front office, or related, role


* Strong accounting, finance, quantitative, corporate finance and business writing skills


* Prior experience with energy transition, sustainability, and climate-related issues


* Understanding of the transaction cycle and the steps in the process and is execution oriented


* Impeccable communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other line of business


* Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently


* Problem solver with the desire to create new solutions and products
