Robot Tech
Summary/Objective
The Robot Programmer is responsible for programming and operating various robotic machines to perform manufacturing tasks.
The ideal candidate will already have knowledge of programming robots via a teach pendent and or manual code entry.
A strong understanding of trouble shooting and parameter adjustments is required.
All team members are responsible for the timely completion, visual appearance, proper procedure, and on-time shipping of all products in their area of responsibility.

Program equipment to perform various manufacturing functions and test programs for accuracy and compliance to standards.
Establishes, adjusts, or suggests changes to work procedures to meet efficient production schedules.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
This ensures protection of all personnel and company property.
Responsible for visual appearance of the parts for compliance with established standards.
Programmers and Operators on robots will need 'first-hand knowledge' of the programming process for various brands of equipment including Fanuc and Yaskawa.
Programmers must be able to adjust part programs and understand prints.
Communication with Operators, Maintenance, Engineers and Operations leadership on specifics of machine performance.

Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear.
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
The team member must frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m.
to 1:30 pm, or 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm, with occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
Travel
Travel would be minimal and would be primarily local during the business day.
Some travel for training and education may be required.
Required Education and Experience
Minimum of a high school education
Able to identify if product meets quality and productivity standards
Ability to use air tools and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
Adaptability to change and willingness to take on additional responsibilities in order to meet work requirements.
Preferred Education and Experience
Manufacturing/industry experience.
