Human Resources Generalist

As an HR Generalist, you'll serve as a key member of our global HR team, supporting our efforts to attract, develop, and retain our company's greatest asset: Our People! This opportunity is based in Appleton Group’s Global HQ in Rosemont, IL working onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely.
IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
* Coordinating and streamlining the processes for the full employee life cycle including recruiting, onboarding, and promotions.
* Supporting annual Wage and Salary Planning processes.
* Planning and facilitating new employee orientation training on HR, safety, benefits, ethics, policies, and procedures of the organization.
* Assisting in the coordination of employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and inclusion initiatives to improve employee relations and build morale within our organization.
* Maintaining HR processes and systems such as the HRIS system (Oracle HCM), recruiting (Oracle Recruit), compensation and benefits, training, employee development and retention, performance reviews, and rewards and recognition for employees.
* Collecting, compiling and analyzing statistical data needed to track critical metrics and prepare reports.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
* A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a closely related field.
* 2+ years of HR experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
* Fluent in Spanish
Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process.
The total target comp range for this position is $70,000 - $95,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
