Position Summary:

The Construction Manager is responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of site-based capital and maintenance construction activities.

This leadership role supports the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of industrial turnaround and capital projects.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, hands-on leader with a strong track record in executing work safely and efficiently in complex industrial environments.

Primary Responsibilities:


* Lead all on-site construction activities for capital and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with CAM's safety standards and fostering a proactive safety culture.


* Manage and supervise CAM personnel and subcontractors through direct and indirect reports, aligning daily operations with project goals and company values.


* Collaborate with the Site Manager in the development and management of annual site capital budgets, project forecasts, and labor/resource plans.


* Drive execution planning, constructability reviews, and job walk coordination during the pre-construction and engineering phases.


* Oversee field execution, including productivity tracking, project scheduling, resource allocation, and equipment utilization.


* Perform regular site inspections and job walks to verify progress, safety compliance, and quality control.


* Support the development of contingency plans and implement recovery strategies when required.


* Develop and implement construction strategies to enhance execution efficiency and reduce risk.


* Act as the primary liaison between CAM and the client's project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.


* Coordinate subcontractor scope, performance, and compliance with project specifications.


* Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project performance, issues, and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
