Shop Assembler
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Product Assembly
* Assembly of an entire product or component of a product using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and templates.
* Use prints or spec sheets, and verbal and written instructions to assemble, modify, troubleshoot, rework, or reassemble units.
* Sets and operates a machine for the purpose of assembling, processing, or repairing individual products.
* Properly follows the established process and the process parameters.
* Keep the work area, equipment, machines, clean and orderly at all times.
* Maintains supplies by checking stock, anticipating, and requesting supplies.
* Must perform as a team member with the willingness and attitude to work with others to resolve problems.
* Work at different stations as production needs require.
* Perform quality inspections at every step in the process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Monitoring the quality of components and clearly communicating to the supervisory team of any issues.

Job Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
* Ability to use hands tools, ratchets.
* Familiarity with reading technical prints and diagrams.
* Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface safely bend, stoop, reach and use ladder up to 8 hours a day, occasionally up to 12 hours per day.
* Ability to perform visual inspection of all components and finished subassemblies.
* Ability to perform at a high pace environment and be able to work well under pressure.
* Must have good mobility and must be able to routinely lift loads of 25-65 lbs.
* Participates in and comply with all occupational safety programs sponsored by the company.
* Basic knowledge of PC usage required to include using a mouse, Microsoft Windows, and data entry operations.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out oral or written instructions.
