The Opportunity


* Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners.


* At least two (2) years of Emergency Department experience or graduation from an ER Fellowship program required.


* Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.


* Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.


* Current CA state license is a plus.

The Practice

Orange Coast Global Medical Center - Santa Ana, California


* A 282-bed hospital, Level II Trauma Center, and Burn Center.


* 15-bed main ED plus 4 fast track.


* Annual volume of 40,000 with a 27% admit rate.


* Patient mix includes older population, a large Vietnamese population, and geriatrics on Medicare.


* On call services include FM/IM, OB/GYN, Surgery, Ortho, ICU, Cardiology, NICU, and neurosurgery.
