Senior Quality Engineer
This Senior Quality Enginer expert agent will cover 30% of their workload as an Integrated Management System Engineer, 50% as a Senior Quality Engineer (Manufacturing Cost of Quality), and serve as the backup for the Manufacturing Quality Assurance Engineer role supporting the production sectors.
Responsibilities:
* Integrated Management System Engineer (30%):
+ Design, implement, and improve quality systems to meet quality standards.
+ Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with IMS (Integrated Management System) standards.
+ Collaborate with the plant manager and management team on quality policies.
+ Maintain and improve the integrated management system, ensuring processes are described, measured, reviewed, and improved.
+ Lead the IMS network and ensure compliance with ISO certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 45001).
+ Obtain and maintain external certifications.
+ Responsible for customer visits.
* Senior Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Cost of Quality (50%):
+ Drive Plant Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), scrap, warranty, and obsolete management.
+ Implement Six Sigma/RED X methodologies and lead continuous improvement projects.
+ Identify opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs by analyzing rework, scrap, and warranty expenses.
+ Coach and mentor quality engineers, providing training on quality improvement tools and techniques.
+ Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on reducing COPQ.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction by removing defects from processes.
* Backup for Manufacturing Quality Assurance Senior Engineer (20%):
+ Ensure product and service quality meets customer requirements.
+ Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives and root cause analysis of quality issues.
+ Create and maintain quality control documentation and lead process audits.
+ Provide inputs for new product development and product evolution.
+ Manage derogations and be the local expert on assembled products.
+ Ensure the Process Control Plan is applied and lead continuous improvement on production lines.
+ Conduct process audits and Process Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA).

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
* Extensive experience in quality engineering, particularly in manufacturing environments.
* Strong knowledge of IMS standards and ISO certifications.
* Proficiency in Six Sigma/RED X methodologies.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proven ability to lead and mentor teams.
