JOB DESCRIPTION

The AVP, Finance Lead is a key leadership role within the Risk Consulting team.

This position is responsible for delivering effective and proactive decision support and financial insights.

The ideal candidate will leverage a deep understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), expense and headcount management, and will drive various projects to enhance financial performance and strategic decision-making.

The successful candidate will develop comprehensive business plans and forecasting expenditures; provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial analysis; rationalize actual spending to align with business objectives, supply leadership and business units with critical information to facilitate informed decision-making for future growth and financial success; and drive transformative initiatives across the business to improve workforce efficiencies.

Additionally, the successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the tools and processes utilized within Chubb Risk Consulting, enabling them to effectively support the organization's goals.



*This position resides in Philadelphia, PA.

Key Responsibilities



* Compile and provide financial insights on monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date results, including but not limited to revenue, expenses, and headcount.


* Develop a comprehensive plan, forecast, and company allocations, articulating and supporting the methodologies used.


* Collaborate with the business to create presentation materials that effectively communicate financial data and insights.


* Partner with the business to establish and measure progress against operational and business goals.


* Work closely with ESIS counterparts to ensure a consistent approach and interpretation of the information presented.


* Demonstrate a willingness and strong aptitude to learn various financial systems.


* Generate ad hoc reports as needed to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
