Starting Salary Range: The starting salary range for this position will be in the $106,300 to $109,489 range, depending on experience, education, and skills relevant to the position.
Please note that the indicated starting salary range describes the range for an incumbent in this position.
Most new staff generally start at the beginning of the range percentile to ensure internal salary equity.
Location: Fully Remote Eligible with the US
Status: Full-Time, Exempt

Position Summary:
The Director of National Philanthropy is a strategic and hands-on fundraising leader responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive national philanthropy strategy.
This role focuses on increasing contributed revenue from individual donors, foundations, corporate partners, and other strategic funders in alignment with Conservation Legacy’s mission and growth goals.
The Director plays a key role in strengthening the culture of philanthropy across the organization, supporting program staff with regional fundraising goals, and stewarding relationships that build long-term support for Conservation Legacy’s national and regional programs.
Outcomes & Functions of Position:
Strategy & Leadership (30%)
* Design and execute a national philanthropy strategy that supports annual revenue goals and organizational priorities.
* Collaborate closely with the President, Sr.
Vice President of External Affairs, Executive Directors, and Board of Directors to expand the organization’s donor base and philanthropic partnerships.
* Serve as a thought partner and philanthropy leader internally, fostering a culture of donor engagement and cross-program collaboration.
* Serve as staff leader and liaison to the Board of Directors Philanthropy Committee.
