Planner

Enersense Engineering is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Planner to support one of our key clients on a major infrastructure project located in the Capital Region of Finland.

We are hiring on a permanent basis, and the position is set to start as soon as possible.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive project schedules for a large-scale construction project.

You will collaborate closely with the client's project management, engineering, and site teams to ensure timely delivery, resource alignment, and effective coordination across all phases of the project.

Key Responsibilities:


* Develop and maintain bid programs to support and complement bid submissions


* Create and manage detailed master construction schedules and project control procedures for live projects


* Prepare and present progress updates and performance reports to senior management


* Foster long-term relationships with existing clients and support business development efforts with new clients


* Manage your assigned projects, ensuring progress is on track while assisting other team members as needed


* Liaise with project stakeholders to review progress, identify risks, and proactively solve issues


* Develop schedules for the pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases, ensuring progress reporting is consistently updated


* Establish resource requirements for project schedules and communicate tools for achieving project goals


* Provide performance updates and reports, identifying variances and taking corrective actions as needed


* Represent the planning team in client and subcontractor meetings

Qualifications & Experience:


* Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field


* Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in construction, preferably with main contractor experience


* Proven experience in one or more of the following sectors: nuclear facilities, substations, or large-scale construction projects


* Familiarity with BIM and digital construction workflows is an asset


* Strong analytical and logical thinking with excellent organizational skills


* Understanding of programming techniques and production rates


* Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with project stakeholders


* Proficiency in using project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 (Asta Powerproject experience is a plus)


* Ability to manage challenging timelines and deliver results under pressure
