Energy Marshall

Enersense Engineering is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Energy Marshall to support one of our key clients on a major infrastructure project located in the Capital Region of Finland.

We are hiring on a permanent basis, and the position is set to start as soon as possible.

In this role, you will oversee the implementation and coordination of the client's energy isolation program at site.

You will work closely with construction, commissioning, and safety teams to ensure all energy-related procedures are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with established guidelines and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:


* Coordinate and manage all activities related to energy isolation across mechanical, electrical, and process systems (MEP) for the site


* Ensure all energy control procedures (including permits, job hazard analysis, and lockout/tagout systems) are followed in accordance with the client's policies


* Support commissioning and testing teams to ensure that safe conditions are maintained while verifying system performance


* Oversee and support the safe management of electrical infrastructure, including systems ranging from 20kVA to LV circuits


* Lead weekly coordination meetings with vendors and client representatives related to energy control


* Maintain documentation and reporting related to permits, energy isolation logs, and audits


* Deliver training to staff and subcontractors in accordance with the client's energy isolation procedures


* Collaborate closely with the client's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) teams to promote continuous improvement and a strong safety culture

Qualifications & Experience:


* Relevant technical background or qualification in engineering, electrical systems, or occupational safety


* Proven experience in managing energy isolation programs in complex environments


* Experience working with construction and commissioning teams in an energy or infrastructure setting


* Familiarity with electrical systems management, from high voltage down to low voltage circuits


* Previous experience in one or more of the following sectors is highly valued: data centres, nuclear, substations, or large-scale industrial projects


* Strong understanding of safety regulations and EHS coordination practices


* Effective communicator with the ability to lead cross-functional coordination and ensure compliance on site
