Senior FP&A Manager

Impact

As a Senior FP&A Manager at Shipt, you will play a critical role supporting the operations team in planning for new delivery market and retailer activation, conducting internal and external benchmarking, and developing business cases for new capabilities.

You will have the opportunity to take on high visibility, strategic projects and workstreams focused on optimizing Shipt’s performance through financial analytics, business insights, and organizational partnerships.

This role will be seated in our Minneapolis, MN or Birmingham, AL office.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful



* Model key assumptions for new market entry, including labor availability, driver acquisition needs, driver wage expectations, and service times.


* Create business cases for new capabilities, highlighting strategic and financial value to ensure an acceptable return.


* Conduct benchmarking of operational and financial results across product lines, markets, and competitors.


* Be a trusted advisor to business partners, highlighting opportunities for process improvement.


* Develop and present annual goal and quarterly forecasts to program stakeholders and finance leadership.


* Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business; Graduate degree preferred


* 6+ years of experience in accounting, data analytics, and/or corporate finance


* Strong communicator with proven ability to communicate across functions and departments


* Entrepreneurial spirit and strong analytical, decision making, project management, planning and organizational skills


* Ability to lead core processes across a hybrid team


* Comfort navigating ambiguity and complex financial data

Work Arrangement

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections.

In-office expectations will vary by role and leader.  Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis.
