Molex, a Koch Company, is seeking a Data Science Intern to join our team in Fremont, CA this upcoming Summer 2025!

The internship opportunity will be a 12-week program running from late May to mid-August 2025.

What You Will Do



* Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, preprocess, and clean large datasets related to optical network products.


* Exploratory Data Analysis: Identify patterns, trends, and correlations in product performance and process efficiency.


* Machine Learning & Modeling: Develop predictive models to optimize optical performance and network reliability.


* Data Visualization & Reporting: Create dashboards and reports to communicate insights using tools like Python, Tableau, or Power BI.


* Collaboration with Teams: Work with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to align data-driven strategies.


* Process Optimization: Suggest enhancements in data pipelines, automation, and workflow efficiency for optical network projects.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Currently enrolled in an Engineering or Data Science-related degree program


* Anticipated graduation date between May 2026 & December 2027.


* Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

For this role, we anticipate paying $35-$38 per hour.
