Fall 2025 New Graduate Nurse Residency

Program Timeline:


* Application Window: April 16, 2025 - May 9, 2025


* Schedule Interviews: Last week of May


* Panel Interviews: Second week in June


* Final Selection: Third week of June


* Program Start Date: August 4, 2025

Program Qualifications:


* RN Residency: A program designed for newly licensed

*

* RNs (or international equivalent) with less than 12 months of nursing experience to attain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to meet standards of nursing practice relevant to the practice setting.


* Must be a graduate of an accredited ASN/ADN, BSN or MSN program.



* Please note: Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) is required.

New hires and transfers must obtain BSN within four (4) years from hire.


* Must hold current Registered Nurse Licensure - issued by the State of California at time of hire


* NCLEX: Exam status must be passed or scheduled


* C urrent Basic Life Support Certification - issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire

The residency program is 6 months long, offered in the Spring and Fall, and provides opportunities in various nursing specialties.

Residents complete the 6 month program with a cohort of peers.

The comprehensive residency program encompasses:

4, 5, & 6 month Professional Development Seminars:

Unit Level Orientation
