Demand Planning Assistant Manager

Description

•Develop and maintain demand forecasts for assigned products and markets based on historical data and market trends.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve demand planning issues.
•Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
•Create and maintain reports to track and communicate demand planning performance.
•Continuously improve demand planning processes and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.
•Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in demand planning.
•Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for specific business unit(s) / product line(s) by analyzing internal capacity and developing plans to align supply and demand to meet customer requirements.
•Track change orders with supply planning, operations engineering, manufacturing, warehouse, and field service personnel to ensure timely implementation of requirements.
•Operate forecasting software and supporting systems as directed to support the forecast process.
•Collect data on performance metrics in areas of quality, cost, and delivery to support key supplier scorecards and business reviews.
•Maintain forecasts and assist in the implementation of forecast improvements.
•Prepare monthly reports and demand management projects.
•Research statistical models to develop forecasts.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of demand and supply plans.

•Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
•6-8 years of experience in demand planning or a related field.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
•Experience in developing and maintaining demand forecasts for specific business unit(s) / product line(s).
