Description

The legal counsel is responsible for providing analysis and counsel on a range of legal issues, including daily operation legal support, compliance, and lawsuits.

Key Responsibilities


* Provide legal advice and support to the organization on a wide range of legal issues, including but not limited to civil code, employment law, anti-unfair competition law, anti-trust law.


* Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, artwork and other advertising material.


* Independently handle various kinds of disputes, such as consumer complain, government investigation, arbitration and litigation.


* Manage and oversee outside counsel and legal vendors as necessary.


* Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may affect the organization and provide guidance on compliance matters.


* Conduct legal research and analysis to support the organization's legal needs.


* Provide legal training and support to internal stakeholders as needed.


* Review company policies and suggest recommendations for changes to positions on legal issues

Required Qualifications


* Bachelor's degree from an accredited law school.


* Pass the P.R.C Bar exam


* >6 years of related experience as a legal counsel in FMCG/ Health Care industry or law firm.


* Possessing excellent English reading and writing skills, with the ability to draft, review, and revise English contracts accurately and effectively


* With a wealth of experience in dispute resolution, including but not limited to consumer complain, government investigation, arbitration and litigation.


* Strong knowledge of contract law, employment law, anti-trust law.


* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.


* Experience with specialized software or other high-level qualifications.
