What you will do

The Associate Director, R&D will provide strategic, operational and technical leadership for Analytical and Microbiology operations in support of new product launches and existing product lifecycle management and will be responsible for teams in a multi-dimensional function, including all aspects of Analytical, Stability management, Microbiology and Laboratory Operations.

The Associate Director role will be responsible to identify, prioritize and manage appropriate resources to achieve strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities


* The Associate Director will partner closely and collaborate with stakeholders, inside and outside of R&D, to achieve strategic objectives associated with Kenvue Self Care business


* Manage the Analytical R&D Self Care teams and be responsible for all aspects of people management


* Provide the necessary oversight and support key strategic activities for Microbiology, whenever required


* Responsible for talent strategies on hiring, promotions, compensation, performance management and development


* Responsible for overall cGMP compliance and inspection readiness for the R&D laboratories and participate in onsite inspections


* Lead or participate in Global Self Care initiatives


* Regional voice on Global teams to develop new strategies, project charters or proposals to drive innovative solutions, efficiencies or related initiatives


* Ownership of resource management, key performance and quality metrics and end to end lab operations


* Drive technical discussions with in-depth knowledge of Quality systems and Regulatory requirements across finished products, raw materials, processes and lab set-ups


* Display flexible mindset adaptable to changing needs of business and organizational ways of working, leverage meaningful external relationships and partnerships outside of organization to solve problems to meet business needs
