Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our healthcare team.

In this role, you will be responsible perform medication administration services consistent with facility practices and regulatory requirements in an assisted living unit or facility.

Responsibilities


* Administer prescribed medications to patients according to established protocols.


* Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications.


* Assist with daily living activities and provide compassionate support to residents.


* Maintain accurate medication records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.


* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.


* Provide support in memory care and engage patients in meaningful activities.


* Ensure a safe and clean environment for all patients by adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.

Requirements


* Certification as a Medication Aide is required.


* Experience in medical office settings, patient care, or senior care is preferred.


* Knowledge of dementia care practices and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.


* Familiarity with Assisted Living and Memory Care


* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.


* Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.


* Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting patients as necessary.
