This position is responsible for performing various shipping and receiving duties for an assigned location.

What you'll do:


* Prepare outgoing shipments and receive incoming shipments.


* Identify and prepare parts for return to the customer or disposal.


* Troubleshoot and resolve shipping errors and delays.


* Process applicable documentation, including database updates, sample disposal records, invoices, etc.


* Pull parts from inventory, as requested, for projects/testing.


* Maintain parts and supplies inventory, as well as audit and inspection records.


* Maintain safety and maintenance schedules and records for shop tools and equipment.


* Design, build & package crates to return to the customer as needed.


* May transport vehicle and/or part pickups to and from various locations.


* Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:


* High school diploma or GED.


* 1+ year directly related experience preferred.


* Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.


* Ability to design, build and customize package crates, using basic hand tools and equipment.


* Must be organized and able to prioritize and complete tasks in an efficient manner.


* Strong communication skills, in both verbal and written formats


* Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines


* Ability to lift and carry samples, parts and equipment up to 49 pounds.
