Purpose:

Our team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists are in the forefront of technology in the medical device industry.

As a key member or our group, you will be making vital contributions to the New Product Development (NPD) pipeline and improving patient care through innovation.

You will work with NPD teams and Suppliers to develop robust molded part designs, tooling and manufacturing processes that meet or exceed all product requirements at the lowest possible manufacturing cost.

This role provides an opportunity to bring exciting new products to market while also providing the opportunity for leadership and significant professional growth.

You will be responsible for:


* Collaborate with external suppliers and internal partners to develop molded components


* Plan, develop, qualify, and stabilize component development process solutions for NPD projects


* Influence the product design by providing injection molded component DFM and COGS feedback


* Identify and evaluate injection molding suppliers


* Review supplier mold tooling designs and qualification plans


* Mentor staff on plastics component development
