Intermediate Maintenance

Pay: $ 31.32 per hour plus Shift Differential: $32.32 per hour

Hiring Bonus:

$500 bonus after completing 90 day probationary period

$500 bonus after completing 6 months of employment

$500 bonus after completing 12 months of employment

Total of $1,500 bonus

Shift & Working Hours: Night Shift; 6:00PM to 6:00AM (2-2-3 Rotation) Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.

Role Focus: The 2nd Class Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repair work on production equipment and facility systems.

In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O'Lakes, Inc.

manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products.

You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers.

This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product.

Key Responsibilities will include but are not be limited to the following:


* Troubleshoot, repair and maintain plant processing equipment


* Address errors that are occur with machines


* Monitor the mechanical and safety conditions of the equipment to ensure that all equipment is fully functional


* Make visual adjustments and fix alignment of sensors


* Maintain work area, tools and shop equipment in a clean and functional manner


* Maintain maintenance logs accurately and neatly


* Follow the Pine Island preventative maintenance program

* Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others


* Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly


* Able to multi-task and keep up with production demands in a fast-paced environment


* Ensures all quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed during production process


* Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area


* Collaborates and follows the instructions of Leads and Management to accomplish daily work assignments

Safety Responsibility:


* Use proper lifting techniques when performing Maintenance duties.


* Follow plant safety rules and procedures.


* Encourage safe work techniques for all employees.


* Perform all duties safely and to use discretion to prevent injuries.


* Complete annual safety refresher training requirements.
