Ultrasonographer

Work Schedule :

100% FTE, evening shift.

Primary schedule is Monday - Friday 3:00PM - 11:00PM, with weekend call and holiday rotation required.

May be assigned other shifts and/or locations based on needs.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay : A competitive starting pay based on relevant work experience.

This position also includes an evening differential.

You may be eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

We are seeking an Ultrasonographer to :


* Perform a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures, including pelvic, abdominal, small parts and routine vascular examinations and may perform more complex imaging.


* Perform clinical examinations on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups.


* Work at a variety of locations, including a Level 1 Trauma Center, critical care facility and several clinics in the Madison area.

Qualifications



* Graduate of accredited ultrasonography program and/or registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) Required


* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred

Work Experience



* Previous healthcare experience Required


* 2 years of clinical experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications



* Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) in a minimum of two concentrations: Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, Breast or Pediatric Sonography or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Upon Hire Required


* RVT credential, if not already acquired, or Minimum Qualifications Substitute (MQS) if in OBGYN department within 30 months Required


* CPR certification within 3 months Required


* Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of two concentrations listed above and RVT Preferred
