Electronics Hardware, Principle Technical Expert

About the Role

We're looking for a dynamic Technical Leader & Team player who is driven by results and passionate about product development.

He/She will be working on developing a range of electricity metering offers with communication protocols and more.

The position is Electronics Design Leader / Electronics Design Technical Expert and will be working in our Power Monitoring business unit, based at Bangalore, and reporting to the Delivery Manager.

Responsibilities

o Embedded Hardware Design, Panning, leading the product design, development and analysis of Power supply, Analog circuits, & embedded Communication circuits / solutions in Compliance with certifications (CE, FCC, NMi, UL)

o Design the schematics using OrCAD, Concept HDL

o Selection of the components keeping design margins into consideration

o Design verification testing including EMI/EMC testing.

o Circuit simulations using (PSpice, MATLAB)

o Performing the DFMEA/ FTA and similar analysis

o Collaboration with Firmware design/ Mechanical engineering/ Manufacturing team

Requirement

o Experience in design and analysis of Power supply, Analog circuits and embedded solutions, using design tools for schematics entry like OrCAD, Concept HDL

o Ability to select components keeping design margins into consideration

o Experience in design verification testing including EMI/EMC testing

o Exposure Agile practices, Quick decision making, analytical and troubleshooting in an evolving environment, Strong verbal and written communication skills.

o Exposure to latest bricks & solutions available in the Global market

o Experience in Power Meter Design & Lead

o Experience with cost effective design

Qualifications

Qualification and experience

Ø B.E./B.Tech in Electronics Streams,

Ø 12 to 15 Years of working experience
