General Purpose of Job
This position is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to various units.
Duties include general clerical and project-based work; coordination with other departments, administration and organization of all pertinent files and databases for the Key Accounts, Field Services and Surge Protectionunit; organize travel arrangements; schedule meetings, take meeting minutes and prepares various supporting documents and presentations for department personnel.
This position will also be called upon to help solve member inquiries in support of the departmental mission.
This role may also be asked to collaborate with the Corporate Communication and Member Experience Senior Administration Assistant on special department projects and may occasionally be required to provide backup support for the Senior Executive Administration Assistant.

Requirements
Education
* Associate's degree in business administration or secretarial science.
* Preferred: Continuing education and/or certification in computer applications such as MS Office.
* Job-related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Experience
* Three (3) years' administrative and general office procedures experience.
* Preferred: Working knowledge of rural electrification and cooperative energy programs.
* Preferred: Experience with NISC iVuew CIS system or another similar customer database.
* Preferred: Experience within an electric utility or related industry.
Other Requirements
* Ability to operate a variety of office equipment, including a personal computer, printers, copy machines, telephones, and fax machine.
* Ability to work irregular hours for assignment completion and flexibility to change scheduling and report to work on short notice during emergency situations.
* Normal work hours will be eight (8) hours Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
* Successful completion of pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.
