Georgia-Pacific has an immediate opening for a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician IV at our La Mirada, CA facility.

* Shift: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am

What You Will Do In Your Role


* Must be able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment, i.e.: safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots and other PPE as required by specific jobs.


* Works with maintenance Foreman and management to plan work priorities, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks.


* Conduct mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.

(chains, gears, sprockets, pulleys etc.)


* Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed safely, efficiently, accurately, and with integrity.


* Verify and document the completion and quality of maintenance tasks to ensure all work meets safety and operational standards.


* Coordinate with the Operations department to align maintenance activities with production schedules and ensure seamless workflow.


* Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on facility equipment, including motors, drives, control circuits, and control panels.


* Install and upgrade electrical systems and components to meet production needs and safety standards.


* Conduct routine testing and calibration of electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.


* Develop and maintain documentation for electrical systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

The Experience You Will Bring

Basic Qualifications:



* At least two (2) years of maintenance experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment


* Experience reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and/or diagrams.


* Experience performing preventative maintenance and identifying predictive maintenance of equipment
