Staff Engineer

Ardurra is seeking an entry level Staff Engineer to join our team in Nampa, ID!



*Must have EIT certification

*

Required Qualifications


* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering


* EI/EIT or PE Certificate


* 0-3 years’ experience in the civil engineering field


* Strong computer skills


* ExpArerience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation a definite plus


* Self-motivated, team-oriented individual with the ability to work on challenging projects in a team environment


* Excellent Communication Skills

Key Responsibilities 


* Assists in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects


* Assists in the development of construction cost estimates for various projects


* Various design tasks and preparation of drawings under the direction of experienced project managers, along with construction inspection and oversight


* Keeps Project Manager informed of workload and any changes in project scope or additional services


* Assists in design components of various projects


* Provides information to Project Manager or Project Engineer for incorporation into specifications


* Researches design options and presents options to Project Manager or Project Engineer


* May serve as onsite project representative


* Additional duties as assigned

Physical Requirements 


* Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer


* Ability to navigate various locations and settings of the company


* Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds


* Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate a vehicle

Salary Range

$62,000 to $75,000 (DOE)
