Work Schedule :

Part-time 80% FTE day shift.

Shifts will be scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm, this may vary/be flexible depending on clinic and/or staff need.Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay :

UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.

This position is eligible for up to a $2,400 sign-on bonus.

We are seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) to:


* Join our allergy, asthma and immunology specialists who provide definitive diagnostic and therapeutic consultation for conditions such as food, drug, and environmental allergies, anaphylaxis, asthma, and recurrent respiratory tract infections.


* Provide quality, conscientious care, with strict attention to details, in a fast paced, compassionate, and patient-family centered environment.


* Prepare patients for examination, obtain vital signs, document chief complaint, review/update medications and allergies, perform spirometry, and assist nursing staff with treatments for patients.

Education :

Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent and ONE of the following:


* Completion of an accredited medical assistant program OR


* Licensure as an LPN OR


* Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program OR


* Attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee OR


* Acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program - Accelerated OR


* One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification in lieu of the above requirements, one (1) years of recent Medical Assistant experience and current CMA, RMA or CCMA certification

Work Experience :

Preferred - One (1) year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum -


* Certified as CMA, RMA, or CCMA or eligible for certification.

Certification must be obtained within one (1) year of hire date.
