Executive Assistant

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an Executive Assistant in Boston, MA.

As part of this role, you will provide high level administrative support to Schneider Electric Chief Audit Executive (CAE).

You will need to work with discretion, confidentiality and bring in comprehensive experience, skill, and knowledge of organization policies.

What will you do?


* Manage calendar, travel arrangements & expense reports


* Gather, compile, verify, and analyze information for the executive's use in documents such as memos, letters, reports, presentations.


* Support CAE with Audit & Risk Committee activities while maintaining confidentiality & discretion


* Could support Internal Audit activities and other Internal Audit leadership tasks while maintaining confidentiality & discretion


* Facilitate communications between the executive and other internal SE team members, as well as between the executive and external parties.


* Schedule appointments and answer or redirect inquiries from internal or external sources.


* Participate in meetings, take notes, prepare materials, organize correspondence & document.


* May be required to update and/or order office supplies and perform other procurement activities


* May coordinate activities between departments and outside parties especially when working on setting up events such as team meetings or global / regional conferences


* Compile and analyze information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials, prepare charts, graphs, or tables, as necessary.


* Advise, support, assist, coordinate, and collaborate on special projects which are highly complex, and involve creation and oversight of multifaceted teams.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?


* 5+ years of experience in senior level executive support


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills


* Proficiency in English is essential, and the ideal candidate should also have strong proficiency of French language


* Expert ability using Microsoft Office programs including, but not limited to Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and potentially Microsoft Project, Outlook


* Strong organizational skills including, but not limited to, the ability to handle multiple demands and assignments and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.


* The ability to exercise independent judgment and a high degree of initiative in resolving problems and developing recommendations.


* The know how to leverage resources and delegate effectively


* A positive and team first attitude


* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
