RN – Cardiology – IMC and General Care Unit

Work Schedule :

90% FTE, day/night shift rotation.

Weekend rotation.

Some holiday rotation.

Hours are based off the operational needs of the department.

We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered, this position also includes a shift/weekend differential.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:


* Join a fast-paced cardiac unit that will provide extensive opportunities to learn and grow in caring for the cardiology patient population as well as the opportunity to work with new technology and state of the art equipment!


* Work on a unit with both general and intermediate level patients.

This cardiac/telemetry unit has a total of 23 beds with central monitors located throughout the unit.


* Care for cardiology patients that may require diagnostic testing and state-of-the-art, non-surgical interventions for coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure and dysrhythmia treatment.

The F4/5 team also partners with the cardiac cath lab team to care for cardiac cath lab procedure patients prior to or after their procedure.

This unit may also partner with the advanced heart failure service to provide medical management of pre-transplant patients.


* Join nurses who work as a team and help one another succeed as well as support participation in shared governance, with a unit-based council to help support and drive quality improvement initiatives and lead practice change.

Qualifications



* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
