Temporary IT User Support Technician II
The County of Riverside's Human Resources Temporary Assignment Program (TAP) is seeking candidates for multiple Temporary IT User Support Technician II to support the Information Technology (RCIT) Department in Riverside and Indio.
The ideal candidates will provide technical assistance to end-users by installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues through various support channels.
Performs routine maintenance and updates on computer systems and applications.
Assists in software deployments, updates, and security patches.
Guides users through step-by-step troubleshooting processes.
Documents and tracks user issues, solutions, and resolutions in a ticketing system to ensure problem resolution.
Maintains asset inventory for IT equipment issued to employees.
Travels to different office locations and provides remote support when required.
The RCIT Department seeks candidates who have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Windows and common enterprise applications.
Basic networking knowledge (IP configurations, VPN, Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
Familiarity with IT support tools, remote desktop solutions, and ticketing systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
