We are searching for the best talent for a Principal Scientist, Radiochemist (Discovery Chemistry) to be onsite in Spring House, PA. 
 

Purpose:
The Radiochemist will be a technical expert in the discovery and development of radiolabeling chemistries that produce targeted radiotherapeutics.

They will work independently in collaboration with cross functional discovery teams, early and late development organizations, and external partners (C(D)MOs) to facilitate the successful discovery and development of next-generation Radiotherapeutics, and radiopharmaceutical manufacturing processes for clinical and commercial development.
 

You will be responsible for:
•    Make significant contributions at the program team level around radiopharmaceutical design based on the target and develop new radiolabeling methodologies and formulations (to prevent/minimize radiolysis) for discovery and preclinical stage programs.
•    Evaluate novel chelator and linker combinations that incorporate therapeutic radioisotopes to drive optimal biophysical and stability properties.
•    Work closely with discovery biology, bioconjugation and PET radiochemistry teams to assist in the development of preclinical imaging tracers and companion PET diagnostics.
•    Develop novel analytical methods that are both suitable and optimized for different modality-based targeting vectors/delivery vehicles.
•    Support the filing of regulatory documents (INDs, ANDAs) for the use of the novel radiopharmaceutical and author research and development reports, manuscripts for publications and assist in patent applications.
