Director of Enterprise Applications

SOLV Energy is an engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and solar services provider for utility solar, high voltage substation and energy storage markets across North America.

Job Description Summary:
SOLV Energy is looking for a Director of Enterprise Applications that will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight for the organizations critical enterprise application portfolio.

This role is pivotal in driving the successful implementation, integration and ongoing support for core applications that underpin core business functions.

A successful candidate will possess a blend of technical acumen, project management expertise and strong leadership skills, to support the development and growth of our enterprise applications team.

Hybrid position based in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:


* Develop, execute and manage an Enterprise Applications roadmap that aligns with the organization's business goals and objectives.


* Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of business application initiatives, ensuring they are resourced appropriately and are completed on time and within budget.


* Manage the Enterprise Applications team, assign tasks, monitor workload, develop hiring forecasts and ensure the team's goals and objectives are aligned with the organization's business goals and objectives.


* Manage relationships with application vendors and service providers to ensure contractual obligations and service level agreements are being met.

Conduct contract reviews to evaluate terms and conditions and pricing negotiations.


* Oversee business processes & documentation for compliance with relevant regulations and standards.


* Lead team of Enterprise Application Engineers and Application Architects to implement changes and resolve problems within existing and new business technologies.


* Ensure alignment of technical implementations to the strategic technology plan.


* Encourage and promote a culture of governance, compliance and continuous improvement within the Enterprise Applications team.


* Collaborate with Cybersecurity group to ensure enterprise applications adhere to the organization's data integrity, data access and security protocols.


* Support senior management with the development and management of the annual operating budgets as it pertains to hiring plans, application support and license renewals.


* Promote awareness around and adoption of tools, technologies, and best practices.


* Keep current on applicable technology and industry trends.


* Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
