Service Technician - Body Shop

As the Body Shop Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and inspect RV units of all sizes with minimal supervision.

This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance issues.

We’re looking for detail-oriented, self-motivated technicians who take pride in their work and enjoy sharing their knowledge with others.

Minimum two years of body shop experience is required.

What you'll do:


* Diagnose, repair, and inspect RV units, including mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry systems


* Perform complete diagnostic tests and provide repair or replacement services


* Document all work performed, including tracking parts and materials used in repairs


* Ensure repairs meet quality standards and are inspected by supervisors as needed


* Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment for customers and coworkers


* Continue professional development through specialty certifications and ongoing education


* Share best practices and technical knowledge to support the growth of your team


* Inspect RVs to assess damage to body panels, frames, windows, roofs, and other structural components


* Perform bodywork repairs, including metalworking, fiberglass repairs, welding, and panel replacement, to restore structural integrity and appearance


* Repair or replace damaged windows, doors, hatches, and other components


* Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, masking, and applying paint with precision to ensure a smooth and consistent finish


* Use frame straightening equipment to align RV frames and perform suspension repairs to restore proper handling and stability


* Conduct post-repair inspections to verify the functionality of lights, brakes, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems


* Provide accurate repair estimates and maintain detailed records of repairs, parts, labor hours, and other relevant information


* Communicate effectively with customers regarding the repair process, timelines, and preventative maintenance recommendations

What we're looking for:


* Experience in the RV industry and/or a related technical field (mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, maintenance, or carpentry)


* Minimum two years of body shop experience is required


* Certification from a technical school in a trade field is a plus, but applicable work experience is equally valued


* 1+ years of service technician experience preferred; 4+ years of technical experience is a bonus


* RVIA certification is helpful but not required – we’ll support you in getting certified!


* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

* Flexible work schedule, including Saturdays (we’re always closed on Sundays)
