Administrative Assistant (Maternity Leave Coverage) - Saskatoon, SK

Intertek is searching for an Administrative Assistant to join our Building & Construction team in our Saskatoon, SK office.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing effective and competent office support to the laboratory in a safe, legal and ethical manner, thus helping to ensure high quality services to customers.

What you’ll do:


* Responsible for reception, mailing, copying, word processing, fax, filing, ordering, invoicing, light packing and shipping.


* To prepare and distribute reports, maintain files and supplies.


* Maintains and updates computer system on a daily basis.


* Responds to customer enquiries and issue quotations.


* Receive samples at the front desk, register samples into computer system, and distribution to laboratories.


* Work in strict adherence to company's policies and procedures.


* Perform ad hoc duties as required by seniors.

What it takes to be successful in this role:


* A post high school diploma of any subject or a related training course.


* Minimum 1 year work experience of similar role in any industries.


* Strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills.


* Proactive with good organizational and time management competency.
