Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Psychiatry

Work Schedule :

Full-time, 100% FTE, day shift.

Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm, no weekends required.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay :

UW Health offers a competitive compensation package.

Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.

External hires may be eligible for up to a $3,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

* We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to:


* Join our team of Behavioral Health and Recovery specialists who provide assessment and treatment for patients and families with substance and behavioral concerns.


* Support ambulatory Esketamine (nasal) treatments in the clinic including medication preparation, monitoring and taking vitals under the supervision of RN and attending physician.


* Work on patient documentation/charting and my chart encounters.


* Support other clinical staff as needed.

Qualifications



* High School Diploma or equivalent Required


* Certificate from accredited Practical Nurse Program Required

Work Experience



* 1 year of experience as an LPN Preferred

Licenses & Certifications



* Wisconsin Practical Nurse Licensure Required


* CPR/BLS certification Required
