Underwriter, Transactional Risk

JOB DESCRIPTION

A key part of Chubb's North America Transactional Risk (TR) team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the TR portfolio with key brokers and clients through your role as an underwriting analyst.

Key Responsibilities:


* Risk assessment: Prepare and refer risk reviews and NBIL drafts in line with our appetite, guidelines and standards through review of sale and purchase agreements, financial statements, management presentations and due diligence reports


* Procedures: assist with NDA reviews, file management, underwriting counsel liaison and provide live deal support to senior underwriters.


* Operational Management: collaborate with our operations department to ensure local systems logging and bound deals booking.


* Management Information: assist with submission and tracking for effective capture to better inform our market strategy and risk selection.


* Producer Management: develop and build a broker network.


* Product Development: contribute to the development of the Global TR strategy, product suite, approach and processes as it grows.


* Team Development: maintains a collegial environment; collaborates with senior underwriters and fellow analysts


* Chubb Representative: to represent and promote the success of the Global TR practice and Chubb as a whole.
