Claims Payable Coordinator - ENCORE

Role Overview:


* Delivers straightforward administrative and/or other basic business services in Accounting/Financial Reporting


* Performs a broad range of basic accounting functions -issues tend to be routine in nature


* Assigns transaction codes to documents


* Assures documents being processed are included in the appropriate accounting period


* Posts, balances, and closes subsidiary ledgers


* Follows up on delinquent accounts receivable customers


* Analyzes and verifies internal consistency, completeness, and arithmetic accuracy of account documents; makes adjustments


* Works to clearly define procedures under close supervision

Qualifications:


* Please note - you must be a retired Cigna Group employee to be eligible for this role


* HS Diploma or GED required


* 0-5 years' relevant work experience


* Good knowledge and understanding of Accounting/Financial Reporting and business/operating processes and procedures

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
