The Senior Principal Scientist will design, develop, and implement impactful data science projects delivering insights and analytics that shape Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine's commercial development of our clinical-stage pipeline!

Purpose:

Working with the Senior Director, Global Data Science, you will use your deep technical expertise and pharmaceutical knowledge to advance the application of leading data science methodologies to drive insights and decisions that optimize the patient benefit and commercial value of JNJIM's pharmaceutical pipeline.

Major responsibilities include evaluating available and potential data sources to drive data strategy and strengthen our analytics.

Develop end-to-end solutions, applying innovative algorithms within commercial analytics, and advancing data-driven decision-making and data science practice across GCSO.

Key partnerships include commercial analytics, medical affairs and market access within GCSO as well as regional commercial analytics and scientific affairs teams, J&J Technology (JJT) Data Science, R&D Data Science, JJT, regional commercial teams and others.

You will be responsible for:



* Act as a hands-on technical leader for the Global Data Science team, instituting leading practices, and modeling and enabling a data-driven culture!


* Develop and provide deep subject matter expertise and leadership on Data Science AI/ML methods, algorithm / model development, and their application to global commercial analytic business questions.


* Effectively navigate technological, analytical, legal, and privacy complexities to achieve objectives.
