General Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated Accounts Payable Director to supervise and oversee our Accounts Payable team.
We are seeking a candidate with experience leading a diverse team who will excel in a fast-paced environment.
Duties include team direction and supervision, problem resolution, coordination with skilled nursing facilities, and other applicable accounts payable duties.
This position oversees ~25 people that are both in-person and remote.
A successful candidate will be able to guide the department while working with vendors, including utility and service providers, to maintain order and efficiency in a large organization.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee and train Accounts Payable Managers, Supervisors, and team members
* Ensure excellent customer service is provided to the staff and nursing homes we serve nationwide
* Communicate effectively with service providers
* Respond to facility and vendor inquiries
* Assist with Month End Close preparation
* Analyze expenditures for accurate coding in accordance with cost reporting requirements
* Develop accounts payable processes and documents to support the input and handling of financial data and reports
* Oversee and own various projects and initiatives as the company and department continue to grow
