Sales Representative - ASCO

What will you do?

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative for selling our ASCO products & solutions to customers located within the Greater Toronto Area.

The ASCO portfolio includes automatic transfer switches, standby power transfer solutions, and associated services.



* Implement sales strategies and execute action plans to maximize sales


* Track and influence projects from pre-design stage to Preventive maintenance stage.


* Identify & capitalize on opportunities for the sale of ASCO products, solutions and services


* Develop new sales opportunities and address the complex needs of customers across all ASCO products


* Gain an understanding of all accounts needs, and key business drivers.

Apply this understanding to develop and propose solutions that address these needs.


* Understanding of building electrical distributions systems and how to apply ASCO products


* Work with consulting engineers to assist with system design and influence specifications


* Prospect, identify, and qualify potential sales opportunities


* Cultivate, build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and key partners at all levels


* Execute and maintain a monthly revenue forecast; track and maintain sales opportunities

* Engineering or Commercial degree/diploma


* 5+ years sales experience of similar products or electrical distribution


* A "hunter" personality with a drive to reach decision makers


* Excellent interpersonal, presentation & communication skills


* Strong planning, problem-solving and negotiation and organizational skills


* Proven ability to communicate technical information to a wide audience


* Demonstrated ability to handle complex selling situations
