EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT II
The County's Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) is seeking a qualified Executive Assistant II for the Finance and Forecasting Division .
The ideal candidate for the Executive Assistant II position will exhibit exceptional organizational abilities, effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities while ensuring smooth operations.

Additionally, proficiency in technology, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling platforms, will enhance productivity.
Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential matters are essential, as well as adaptability to dynamic work environments and the ability to respond to changing priorities.
The individual must have strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to proactively support executives in making informed decisions.
The most competitive candidates will have experience in DPSS programs, including children's services, adult services, and self-sufficiency divisions, along with a general understanding of the operations within these departments and programs.
The ideal candidate will also possess executive or secretarial experience, as well as leadership or supervisory experience in clerical roles.
Exceptional customer service skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are also key qualifications.

•Type correspondence, memoranda, reports, documents, orders, payrolls, briefs and statistical data such as charts, tables, and graphs.
•Set up and maintain office files, record and index using computer applications that include use of electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet and special databases.
•Maintain control files to monitor status and expedites the completion of staff assignments.
•Schedule appointments, coordinate time, place, and participant arrangements for meetings.
•Sort, screen, and route incoming mail.
•Provide general information to office and telephone callers and/or refer them to appropriate party.
• Compile and summarize information, data, and figures for reports.
• May lead subordinate staff in routine clerical assignments.
