Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

We're looking for an energetic leader in an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for our skilled nursing facility.

We are passionate about caring for our residents and desire leaders who are willing to grow and develop along with us.

Shift: Monday-Friday + on-call rotation

Pay: starting $70,000/annual

Active LVN or RN license required

Duties:


* Assists the Director of Nursing Services in managing and directing the Nursing Services Department.


* Provides direct nursing care as necessary.


* Assesses each resident's needs and assists in the development of a treatment plan for nursing care to meet the daily treatment and care needs of the resident


* Participates in the interdisciplinary team and works cooperatively with team members to ensure the coordination of care and treatment for the residents are met


* Ensures that nursing personnel provide treatments, medications, diets, rehabilitative nursing care, activities of daily living, protective service, and training in self-care as stated in the care plan to ascertain that optimum comfort and care is provided


* Train nursing staff in the proper provision of direct care to residents


* Lead others through actions consistent with and serve our culture


* Makes rounds with physicians as necessary.


* Communicates information to nursing personnel regarding new resident admissions and resident discharges and provides oversight of the admission and discharge process.


* Other duties as required

Qualifications:


* High School Diploma or equivalent


* Graduate of an accredited nursing program.


* Must have, as a minimum, one year of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility.
