Senior Financial Analyst

Georgia-Pacific is always ready to meet top Talent! We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Halsey, OR that provides support to our Consumer Products manufacturing business.

As a valued business partner, the SFA will collaborate, lead, and advise; providing financial and analytical data to support operations, and will assist the business with the financial reporting and consolidation process.

You will also create value by providing actionable manufacturing analysis, cost analysis and benchmark reporting, as well as project tracking for management to improve the competitive position of the facility.

Being able to gather inputs from multiple sources, synthesize and understand data and effectively communicate results, trends and variances to internal customers will be your keys to success in this role.

Location This role will support our Pacific NW locations and will be based at our mill in Halsey, OR.

At our plants and mills, and in Atlanta, we work a schedule that includes 4 to 5 in office days a week.

Our Team Our Financial Planning & Analysis team is made up of individuals that provide support to 125+ operating locations across the US, as well as at our corporate HQ in Atlanta, GA.

What We Do We focus on supporting our manufacturing teams with reporting, forecasting, variance analysis and identifying cost savings opportunities.

You will also partner with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and transformation.

We serve as the primary financial business partners for our sites and our division.

We are supported by our fiduciary partners as well as other Centers of Excellence for Fiduciary Accounting, Inventory, Internal Financial Controls, and Capital Accounting

What You Will Do



* Primarily focus on direct costs, production and indirect costs at the mill level and effectively gather data sources and communicate results, trends, and variances to internal customers


* Manufacturing and Commercial Analysis: KPI analysis, cost analysis, benchmark reporting, bet tracking, etc.


* Month end financial reporting, consolidation of reporting and analysis, variance analysis, and commentary
