Senior Manager, SEC Reporting

Summary:

Responsible for preparation and review of SEC filings including MD&A and footnote disclosures.

Successful candidates will have extensive technical accounting skills, a professional approach, and strong communication skills.

Relationship & Scope:

The Manager, Financial Reporting will report to the AVP, SEC Reporting and is a pivotal member of the team responsible for SEC filings.

The Manager will interact with a diverse group of internal personnel including financial analysts, divisional leadership, and functional staff to interpret financial data and operational performance.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:


* Assist in the review of all SEC filings including financial statements, footnotes, disclosures and supporting documentation


* Be accountable for various analytical and reporting responsibilities that include the ability to work within finance and other departments


* Recognize, research, and resolve SEC reporting and general accounting issues


* Provide supervision and support financial analysts with their responsibilities


* Analyze technical accounting topics and propose conclusions


* Assist in XBRL reporting for all SEC filings, which includes researching tags and staying up-to-to-date with new taxonomy


* Assist with the implementation of FASB projects and standards
