Material Handler - 1 st Shift

Location: Bolton, ON, Canada

ON-SITE/IN-PERSON opportunity - remote/hybrid are not available.

Must be able to commute to Bolton/have own transportation as there is no public transportation available.

The Nuts and Bolts:


* Service production department as required


* Appropriate yard organization and clean-up


* Knowledge of where material is used in the production process.


* Literacy and familiarity with necessary computer skills.


* Ensure material is placed in its proper location and transferred as required


* Perform safety start-up checks and preventative maintenance on equipment.


* Operate all equipment related to materials disbursement


* Train other employees as required.

Required Credentials:


* High School Diploma or equivalent GED


* Valid driver's license


* Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.


* Work overtime including Saturdays, as needed


* Excellent verbal and written communications skills


* Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated

Preferred Credentials (but not required):


* Fork lift certification

This job operates in a manufacturing plant environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear.

The team member frequently is required to stand (sometimes for extended periods); walk; and reach with hands and arms and lift up to 35 pounds.

The team member may, at times, sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead, or crawl (may be in confined spaces).

The team member is expected to perform repetitive tasks using their hands, and have the ability to climb ladders and/or work in high places.
